Mrs. Arrington
Mrs. Arrington was born and raised in New York and moved to Virginia to attend college. She graduated from Liberty University where she earned her degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. After graduating, Mrs. Arrington taught high school for five years, before making the change to elementary school. This is Mrs. Arrington’s sixth year at Leesville Road Elementary. She is married to a hardworking contractor, has a dinosaur loving little boy and has two rambunctious Labradors.
Mrs. Gravette
Mrs. Gravette is a graduate from Ohio University where she earned her BS degree. Upon graduation, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina. While teaching there, she earned her Masters of Education with a concentration in Behavior Disorders from the Citadel. Mrs. Gravette has been teaching for the CCPS system for 29 years. Her first year was at Brookville Middle and Tomahawk Elementary. She has been a teacher at Leesville Road Elementary for the past 28 years.
Mrs. Urwiller
Mrs. Urwiller graduated from Liberty University in May 2017 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. While substitute teaching in Campbell County Schools, she earned her Masters of Special Education in May 2019. After several long-term substitute teaching positions, she is excited to officially join the LRES team this year. She loves getting to know students individually and helping them build their confidence as learners. Mrs. Urwiller enjoys reading a good book and spending time with her husband, Josh, hiking, camping, and hammocking in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Mrs. Eads
Samantha Eads graduated from Liberty University in May 2016. She completed part of her student teaching at Leesville Road Elementary School and fell in love with the teachers and students. She has a passion for finding new ways and methods to help students learn and loves to see students become confident in themselves and their learning. In her spare time, she loves to go hiking and eat Mexican food with her friends and family.
